Quick character back sketch, might evolve into something.-these doodles usually are very usefull in the end, they might look like mish mash now, but eventually they'll spark something....maybe!

-updated version of the lake one i did awhile back.

I have repainted the far away roots, added some shadow throughout, pushed back the far landscape added a little more color, and spread the foreground pink reds a little more across the background.

Just did this with a canvas texture brush/kind of like it if i can control the edge more, which i can with eraser just need to figure out the brush i have set up. Anyways it was fun to mess around with.

2 new comps in production

These are 2 landscapes i'm working on, both have futuristic/modern elements in them. Wanted the post the before's so you could judge the after's and see if i took it far enough. The falls bridge one i need to add way more contrast and depth to, plus just render it, the bulls building has alot of contrast but needs details, rendering, modeling and correct lighting...working away!

Had to get this one out for my friend John. Check his site out when you can it's to the right there. Anyway, this one took a little longer, and i still think i could work on the nose and right temple for awhile, but it's okay for now i think, let me know, and i'll work on it forever!

Again, just adjusting and learning from laying down values. This one was pretty fun although a little tricky because of the tilt of the head.-i like the way her expression came out though.-i kept the hair a little more simplistic than i usually would do, but then again overworking can kill a painting apparently, so i stop when i can. Anyways, i painted the sketch of another portrait today, i'll post that in a couple.
